Friday met up with classmates at amk to have our dinner.
Take bus and then cab down to some ULU ULU place, MCC. Thanks to AMOZ for recommending that place. -.-"

Today went ade house with PT bf. Helped her with her makeup and all. So happy to see that she have graduated and going for her graduation party. im really happy. really happy for her.


After 'escorting' ade to mrt, slack at mac for awhile. Then went to meet dearie after his work.

Wore the colored lens today. The color is not that obvious and im quite satisfied with the color. Hehe. May try other color, like say, blue?? HAHA.

Finally went to SIM today to apply for uni. And of course PT bf accompanied mi.

Uni applications are almost settle. Phew!! Just have to send over and wait for their letter.

Went for interview at a retail shop. Dun think they want to employ me. Cos they want full-timer. Nvm.

Gotten my hazel colored lens yesterday. Haven try the color yet. Color seems abit too light. =x
Gonna wear it tomorrow. Hope it'll turn out nice? Haha.

Cosmetic grade talc is safe as used. There are no valid studies that link talc to cancer. Talc does not clog pores: the size of the talc particles is bigger than the pores and the pores have a positive pressure, that is they have a tendency of pushing anything towards the outside. TALC DOES NOT CAUSE ACNE!!

- FD&C Colouring: These are synthetic materials that have been evaluated by the US FDA and deemed safe to be used in Food, Drug and Cosmetic (FD&C).

- Lanolin: Unpuried lanolin contains protein that can cause allergies. The cosmetic industry has long ago exclusively used purified lanolin which is safe and not allergenic.

- Petrolatum: Used by medical community to test other ingredient for their allergy potential. never have allergies to petrolatum been reported. It forms a film on the skin/lips and helps moisturise it, not dry it.

Recently read an article on Mind Your Body, so decided to share something with the girls.
It says:

Foundation
Most foundation contains talc, which is derived from asbetos, a matter found in construction material. Talc is know for clogging pores and causing acne, may also be linked to cancer, although studies are still inconclusive. Also, most standard make-up contains perfume and dyes. These artificial ingredients could cause allergic reactions. (My foundation has this. :( )

Lipstick
Did you know that several plants, insects and animals contribute to making a tick of lipstick? (I didnt know that!) Some of the ingredients in lipsticks that could cause allregic reactions are:

- Carmine: Derived from the shell of the female cochineal insect (beetle), it is used to produce a red colouring and may cause allergic reactions. (I found it as one of the ingredients in my blusher! Eeskkksss!!!)

- FD & C colourings: Derived from coal tar (petroleum), some colours are believed to be carcinogenic. They could increase the risk of getting cancer.

- Lanolin is a product from the oil glands of sheep. It can cause allergic reactions and can be harmful to ingest if it contains pesticide residue.

- Petrolatum: Derived from petroleum, this ingredient can cause allergic reactions and, ironically, can dry the lips, requiring the user to apply even more lipstick. (Found this too!)

Oh my... Seems that i have to change my foundation, blusher and lip balm soon!! All these are harming my skin!!! Arghhh!!! Have to change to a brand that uses natural ingredients. Hmm...

Rainy days

Thought of waking up and meeting dearie earlier so that it wont rain when im going out.

BUT... It started to rain even when im ready. Grrr...

Waited and waited for the rain to stop or at least drizzling before i can go out. Only got to meet him at 6plus. :(

Going out on rainy days are so inconvenient.

Watched 10,000 BC with dearie and his friends. It was average movie i guess. Not much climax.

In the movie, it says some people would only care for their wife and children. Some care for their community. And some would care for many many other people. Who will you be?


Nowadays i somehow begin to like eating popcorns(SWEET ONES OF COS!!). Haha. Dun know why also.

Oh my.... Just read through the instructions and online applications for the different universities. So many documents and information to prepare and send.

Why cant we have all the necessary forms and all that send to us?? And we just need to fill in and send back. Like for poly. Hehe.

Ok. Enough of complaining.

Saw online videos of those cheesecakes, cookies, CHOCOLATE CAKES..!!! Was drooling while watching it. At the same time, i got the urge to follow the recipes and do it. Seems so fun and easy to make.

Ytd went for SIM open house. Took some brochures and walked ard.
Have our lunch at a coffee shop. Had CKT. Tried some cockles. But i still dont like the taste. =x

Took train and met sis to her church. So far. =x

Today, walked ard e whole of velocity and couldnt find a pair of slippers that i like. So hard to find a pair that caught my eyes. All the shops emphasise on heels and pumps. NO SLIPPERS!!!! Grrr...

Saw 2 designs at a shop which i like. Ponder for awhile as i couldnt decide which one to buy(as always). Finally decided on one of them. BUT....... "Miss, sorrie, this design dont have your size". ZZzzzzz. So, not choice, bought another design instead.

Had dinner at Pepper Lunch. The rice is very tasty and nice. But the portion abit small. Not really full after eating. HAHA...

Bought some donuts before going home. (No long queue!!!)

He always wins me in Dai Dee. :( Cos he distribute the pokers to me first. His 'bad' cards all became mine. Tat's why i didnt win. Grrr...
